How can counselling help?

Problems may arise from current dilemmas, which themselves may stem from past experience.

Counselling aims to support you and to provide a space to reflect on your difficulties. It helps you to understand and manage your concerns by increasing self-awareness. Counselling explores both conscious thought and unconsciously determined behaviour, as well as possible links between the past and the present.

Counselling is not about giving advice, making decisions for you or imposing opinions on you.

What next?

If you feel counselling may be for you, we can arrange an initial interview to discuss your concerns and the background to them.

Should we decide to proceed, sessions will then usually be weekly, lasting for 50 minutes and for a mutually agreed duration.

Consultation fees

Each consultation £35 50 mins
