Pilates with Anna Papadopoulos
Anna Papadopoulos has been practising pilates mat and studio work for over twenty years, having done a wide variety of classical, contemporary and latin dance from the age of five onwards. Anna qualified as a mat-work teacher with the New Pilates School under Helge Fisher and Stephanie Beeson, and then trained and qualified to teach machine work at Gordon Thompson’s studio Pilates Body Europe in South Kensington.
Her continuing professional development has included advanced anatomy reviews for bodywork professionals at Imperial College teaching Hospital, as well as an eclectic range of masterclasses.
Anna’s classes are designed to look after individual needs within the group, and often incorporate small props to extend and vary the matwork. She is experienced in teaching mixed level, pilates during and after pregnancy, more senior clients and those with a wide range of back, hip, shoulder and postural issues. Anna also offers one-to-one personal coaching. She has her own small studio practice based at the Coach House Clinic, Lewes, and has taught regular pilates classes and workshops at Glyndebourne Opera House for several years.
